Trends & Indicators 2007In cooperation with Connection: The Journal of the New England Board of Higher Education, NEBHE's Department of Policy & Research monitors and publishes trends and indicators in higher education.
The Spring 2007 issue of Connection, entitled Trends & Indicators in Higher Education 2007, is the most comprehensive, detailed, and reliable source of information available on the status of higher education in New England -- and the region's status relative to the rest of the nation. This annual trends issue explores changes in New England’s demography, minority enrollment, foreign enrollment, graduation rates, higher education financing and university research, and features a new state-by-state comparison of “Indicators of College Readiness.”
The issue also features an exclusive interview with new Nellie Mae Education Foundation President Nicholas Donohue, as well as hard-hitting exclusive commentaries by Education Trust President Kati Haycock, noted higher ed analyst Cliff Adelman, Steppingstone Foundation President Michael Danziger, higher education attorneys Robert B. Smith and Dana L. Fleming, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick’s special education advisor Dana Mohler-Faria, Jake Ludes and colleagues at the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, former Tufts corporate and foundation relations chief John C. Schneider and Lawrence Butler of Maguire Associates.
