
The New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) invites you to attend the 2013 New England Campus Sustainability Forum (NECSF) co-organized by AASHE, Clean Air-Cool Planet, the Colleges of the Fenway, GreenerU, the Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium and Second Nature. The forum is designed to foster conversation and linkages among campus stakeholders (administrators, staff, faculty and students) to provide new insights for initiating campus sustainability programs. This year's forum will focus on Climate Change & New England Campuses: Impacts and Solutions, with workshops covering topics such as:
- Climate Impact Planning
- Finance
- Change-Agents
- Marketing and Communications.
Keynote speakers include:
- Mary Powell, CEO, Green Mountain Power (confirmed)
- Beverly Wright, professor of sociology and founding director of the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice (invited).
The closing plenary panel will address How Colleges and Universities Can Make Themselves and Their Communities More Equipped for the "New Normal.”
