Ball State University President Paul Ferguson resigned unexpectedly from the helm of the Indiana college. Ferguson was president of the University of Maine until he signed a five-year contract at Ball State in August 2014.
Massachusetts College of Art and Design named University of North Carolina School of the Arts Provost David Nelson to be the 12th president of the Boston arts and design college, succeeding Dawn Barrett, who stepped down in 2014.
Debi Kleiman
was named executive director of the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College after holding leadership posts at Havas Media and MITX (Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange). Meanwhile, Ian Lapp, former associate dean for strategic educational initiatives and lecturer on global health at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health was named dean of the Undergraduate School at Babson College.
