Thomas R. Horgan announced he will leave his post as president and CEO of the New Hampshire College & University Council, effective June 2017. A NEBHE delegate since 2006, Horgan has played a key role advancing New England collaborations, including work on NEBHE’s Higher Education Innovation Challenge. Quinsigamond Community College Gail E. Carberry announced she will retire at the end of the 2016-17 academic year after 10 years at the helm.

Biology scholar Robert Neely, who most recently served as provost at Texas Woman’s University, was appointed the new vice chancellor for academic affairs for the University of Maine System.

Debra Humphreys announced she would leave her post of senior vice president at the Association of American Colleges and Universities to join the Lumina Foundation as vice president of strategic engagement.
