Now Available: 2018 Guide to New England Colleges & Universities

By Wendy A. Lindsay

NEBHE’s 2018 Guide to New England Colleges & Universities lists key data for public and independent, degree-granting colleges and universities based in New England—such as admissions application deadlines and acceptance rates; faculty-student ratio; enrollment totals and breakdowns for part-time, commuting, female, international and minority students; cost of attendance; and degrees offered. NEBHE gathered the information for the college listings through a 2017 online survey of the colleges and universities.

In addition to the college listings and profiles, the 2018 Guide includes an overview of college admissions, financial aid resources and NEBHE’s Tuition Break program.

Boston magazine published the 2018 Guide to New England Colleges & Universities as a companion publication to the December 2017 edition of its Boston and Philadelphia magazines.

Boston magazine provides the 2018 Guide as an interactive flip book and prominently features the 2018 Guide on its website.

The 2018 Guide is also available in pdf format.

NEBHE distributes complimentary print copies of the Guide throughout New England, including to all high school guidance offices; high school, college and public libraries; legislators and to students and families.

Single print copies of the Guide are available from NEBHE with a $5 shipping and handling charge, payable by check to NEBHE or by credit card. School counselors, administrators and librarians may order additional multiple copies of the 2018 Guide by completing an online order form.

NEBHE published its Annual Directory of New England Colleges and Universities for a half-century as a special issue of The New England Journal of Higher Education (NEJHE). In 2010, NEBHE moved its NEJHE publication entirely online. The partnership with Boston magazine allows us to again produce a printed directory for the convenience of our high school guidance and higher education colleagues, as well as college-bound students and families.

The 2018 Guide is the seventh edition of the annual guide produced in partnership with Boston magazine.
