Sponsorship Opportunities with the New England Board of Higher Education

For a quarter century, The New England Journal of Higher Education has provided a forum for educators, elected officials, CEOs and others to share new thinking and best practices on topics ranging from college readiness and affordability to New England’s changing demography.

Readers of The New England Journal of Higher Education include:

  • The trustees, presidents and top academic and administrative leaders of New England's 270-plus colleges and universities
  • Government policymakers, including governors, legislators and other public decision- makers
  • Corporate CEOs and other senior executives
  • Foundation executives and program officers
  • K-12 leaders, including commissioners of education, superintendents, principals and school board leaders
  • High school guidance counselors
  • Editors and reporters of newspapers and magazines
  • Leaders of regional and national education associations, business groups and think tanks

With the creation of a newly designed NEBHE website, we are transitioning the print version of NEJHE to be entirely online. With the New England Journal of Higher Education online, we will deliver the same level of powerful and in-depth content, plus leading-edge interactive and digital media tools to truly engage with thought leaders and decision-makers in New England, including:

  • An opportunity to dialogue with the authors of key journal pieces through comments and our newly formed discussion boards, called Forums
  • A networked connection to core social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, and RSS, so readers can access information where they choose.
  • A greater connection with complementary organizations—regionally and beyond
  • A focus on trends in higher education including our long-established Trends and Indicators reporting

Why Online?
Our motivation to develop NEJHE online is the recognition of a new media environment. As media have evolved with strides in technology, so has the way our readers consume media. Our readers have always wanted up-to-date and active dialogue around their topic of interest—now we will deliver knowledge and research in the way that they want to consume it:

  • Dynamic, frequent and real-time content
  • True dialogue on relevant topics and issues through opportunities to respond and engage
  • Accessibility to information in the form and in the places readers prefer
  • A vibrant community based on shared interest and knowledge in which the reader has a voice

The new NEBHE website will also feature daily updates on the latest news, happenings, articles and events as part of Newslink.
