Budget Appropriations

On this page you will find the appropriations of the last 3 years in higher education in Connecticut.  If you would like to look at  more detailed list please click here.


The University of Connecticut was appropriated $224,416,160 in 2009.  This number climbed 4.8% in 2010 and another 1.5% in 2011 to $235,66,254.


The Charter Oak State College saw a similar trend.  In 2009 they were appropriated $2,661,486 and saw a 4.4% increase in 2010, and an additional 1.3% increase in 2011 to $2,817,973.


The Connecticut State University System was allocated $158,649,294 in 2009.  They saw a 2.8% increase in 2010 and a 2.5% increase in 2011.  They have been appropriated $163.149.474 in 2011.
