Budget Appropriations

On this page we will look at the appropriations related to higher education from FY09, FY10 and the proposed appropriations from the Governor for FY11. To look at a more detailed explanation of the appropriations for each year click here.

For 2011 the Governor proposed to appropriate a total of $43,334,279 to the University of Vermont. This is a 3.9% or $1,587,348 increase from fy09 and fy10.

The Governor proposed a 7% increase of $1,722,837 for fy11 from $24,233,750 in FY10 and FY09 to $25,946,587 for the Vermont State Colleges.

The New England Higher Education Compact was allocated $84,000. The same amount in fy09 and fy10.
