Among recent comings and goings, Father Jonathan DeFelice, O.S.B., president of Saint Anselm College, announced he will retire in June 2013, after leading the college since 1989. Bunker Hill Community College President Mary L. Fifield also announced she will retire in June, after 16 years.

Talent Search: Bunker Hill CC Snags Grant to Prepare Disadvantaged Students

Bunker Hill Community College and partners were awarded a five-year grant of $230,000 per year by the U.S. Department of Education Talent Search program to prepare high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds for entry and success in college.

Filmmaker Michael Moore to Speak at Bunker Hill CC

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Moore will speak at Bunker Hill Community College's Health & Wellness Center Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Moore's latest book, Here Comes Trouble: Stories from My Life, is scheduled to be released in mid-September. The event is free but seating is limited.
