Dodge was admissions director at Keene State from 1990 to 2001.

At the commission, Dodge oversaw regulation of all public and private, for-profit and nonprofit higher education institutions and career schools in the state and those that wished to enter the state, and administered more than $4 million in financial aid.

Amid deep spending cuts this past summer, the commission was folded into a Division of Higher Education-Higher Education Commission within the state's Department of Education.

Dodge has been a NEBHE delegate since 2003 and chair of the Regional Student Program Advisory Council. She is replaced on the NEBHE board by New Hampshire Education Commissioner Virginia M. Barry.
