It’s true, people don’t appreciate culture and most people have little encouragement.

I heard about a survey of people who won the lottery and people who suffered a severe injury that altered their life. Lottery winners were happy at first but at the end of one year the people with severe injuries were happier. They learned how to cope and be satisfied with life. The money did not lead to a sustained happy state.
