Commencements: The Anchor, the Ambassador et al

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Power.

Judith S. Kaye, former chief judge of New York and of the Court of Appeals and now a lawyer with the Skadden firm, will deliver the commencement address at the Roger Williams University School of Law ceremony on Friday, May 16 at 1 p.m. on the university’s main athletic field. Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln D. Chafee will address the Roger Williams University class of 2014 on Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. also on the main athletic field.

Bernard Amadei, founder of Engineers Without Borders-USA and co-founder of the Engineers Without Borders-International Network, will keynote Worcester Polytechnic Institutes 146th commencement on Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. on the quadrangle.

Bob Schieffer, anchor and moderator of CBS News’ “Face the Nation” will deliver the commencement address at Saint Anselm College on Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. on the lawn in front of Alumni Hall.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power will keynote commencement at the University of Vermont on Sunday, May 18 at 8:20 a.m. on the university green.

Swimmer Diana Nyad, who became the first person to swim the 110 miles between Cuba and Florida without a shark cage or fins, will deliver the Middlebury College commencement address on Sunday, May 25 at 10 a.m. on the main quadrangle behind Voter Hall.
