The University System of New Hampshire appointed Antioch University Provost and CEO Melinda Treadwell to be interim president of Keene State College, succeeding Anne Huot, who resigned after four years as president and will return to her faculty position as a biology professor after a year-long unpaid leave of absence. Treadwell previously served as interim provost and VP for academic affairs at Keene State.
Lynne Rosansky was named interim provost and VP for academic affairs at Bentley University.
The Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission named its current Deputy Director Jeffrey Emidy to serve as acting executive director, succeeding Edward “Ted” Sanderson, who is retiring. Emidy, a Rhode Islander who earned his master’s degree at the University of Vermont through NEBHE’s Regional Student Program (RSP) Tuition Break, was honored in February at the Rhode Island State House to celebrate the RSP’s 60th anniversary.
