Paid internships are more than career-building opportunities. They are essential to strengthening New England's talent pipeline.

Through its Learn & Earn Challenge, the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) is advancing efforts to expand access to high-quality, paid internships and strengthen connections between higher education and employers across the region.

On Nov. 10, NEBHE and The Burning Glass Institute, in partnership with The New England Council, will host The Internship Imperative: Strengthening New England's Talent Pipeline, a timely discussion featuring the release of new research examining the impact of paid internships on early career success, graduate employment and workforce development.

The breakfast program will feature the launch of The Internship Imperative: Leveraging New England's Talent and Higher Education Advantage, a new report prepared for NEBHE by The Burning Glass Institute, followed by a moderated discussion with leaders from higher education, business and the region's emerging workforce.
